तिनका कबहुँ न निंदिये, जो पाँयन तर होय ।
कबहुँ उड़ आँखिन परे, पीर घनेरी होय ॥

Never scorn the blade of straw under your feet. One day it blows into your eye, and the pain is great.

पैरों तले पड़े तिनके को भी छोटा मत समझो। कभी उड़कर आँख में पड़ जाए तो बहुत तकलीफ़ देता है।
