Kabir
खूंदन तौ धरती सहै, बाढ़ सहै बनराइ ।
कुसबद तौ हरिजन सहै, दूजै सह्या न जाइ ॥
Meaning · English
The earth bears being trampled, the forest bears the flood. Only a saint bears a harsh word. No one else can.

धरती रौंदा जाना सह लेती है, वन बाढ़ सह लेता है। कड़वा बोल केवल संत सह पाता है, और कोई नहीं सह पाता।
