मैं मेरी तू जानि करै, मेरी मूल बिनास ।
मेरी पग का पैखड़ा, मेरी गल की फाँस ॥
Meaning · English
'I' and 'mine' are the root of ruin. 'Mine' is the shackle on the foot and the noose round the neck.
