Hatred Never Ends Hatred
Dhammapada 5
न हि वेरेन वेरानि सम्मन्तीध कुदाचनं; अवेरेन च सम्मन्ति एस धम्मो सनन्तनो.
Meaning · English
Hatred is never ended by hatred, here or anywhere. Only by the absence of hatred does it end. This is the old way.

बैर से बैर कभी शांत नहीं होता, यहाँ भी नहीं और कहीं भी नहीं। बैर न रखने से ही वह शांत होता है। यही पुराना नियम है।
