जो रहीम उत्तम प्रकृति, का करि सकत कुसंग।
चंदन विष व्यापत नहीं, लपटे रहत भुजंग

A person of good nature is not harmed by bad company. Snakes wrap round the sandalwood tree, and it takes no poison.

जिसका स्वभाव अच्छा है, उसे बुरी संगत नहीं बिगाड़ती। चंदन से साँप लिपटे रहते हैं, फिर भी उसमें विष नहीं चढ़ता।
