Meaning · English

Son of the Wind, remover of troubles, whose very form is blessing: king of the gods, dwell in my heart, together with Rama, Lakshmana and Sita.

Pavantanay means the son of Pavan, the wind. Sankat haran is the one who lifts troubles away. Mangal murti rup says his very form is blessing, so seeing him is already good fortune. Then comes the request: come and live in my heart, king of the gods. Tulsidas does not ask Hanuman to come alone. He asks for Rama, Lakshmana and Sita with him, the whole household Hanuman serves. The one who carries troubles off is asked to bring his master in too.

A trusted family friend comes to the door, and behind him are the people he has brought, the ones you most hoped to see. You open the door for one guest and the whole house fills. Tulsidas invites Hanuman into his heart the same way, knowing Rama, Lakshmana and Sita come in with him.
