Prashna Upanishad 1.16
Meaning · English
That stainless realm of the Absolute belongs to those people in whom there is no crookedness and who are free from all deception.
The stainless realm refers to a state of existence beyond material distraction. Access to this place depends on personal integrity. Specifically, it requires a lack of crookedness in one's conduct and a rejection of falsehood. When a person stops using trickery or illusions to navigate the world, they align themselves with the nature of the Absolute, making that higher state their natural home.
A window pane polished until it is completely invisible. You do not see the glass; you only see the clear landscape beyond it. This clarity is like a mind without deceit. When the distortions of lies are removed, the light of the Absolute passes through without being bent.
