Meaning · English

The balancing breath manages the inhale and exhale equally. The mind is the seeker, and the upward breath carries the mind to the absolute.

The balancing breath acts as a bridge. The mind is the one offering the sacrifice, while the upward breath is the result of that process. Together, they facilitate a transition. This movement takes the mind away from the fragmented experiences of the waking and dreaming states and brings it into a state of total unification with the absolute source.

A small stream flowing into a vast, still lake. The individual ripples of the stream represent the active mind and breath, while the lake is the absolute. As the water merges, the distinct movement of the stream disappears into the stillness of the larger body of water.
