Prashna Upanishad 6.7
Meaning · English
He told them that he knows this supreme reality, and that there is nothing beyond it or higher than this.
The speaker identifies the absolute limit of knowledge. By naming this reality as the highest, he indicates that the search for a cause or a power above this point ends here. He is not claiming personal greatness, but rather confirming that the subject they have been discussing is the ceiling of existence. There is no further step to take and no hidden layer left to uncover.
Think of a mountain climber reaching the actual peak. Once they stand on the highest point, there is no more climbing possible; every direction from that spot is down. This peak represents the reality described here, the point where the ascent of understanding finally stops.
